RG4N: Still wrong
Quick hit: About to leave on a business trip to Yuma, and have to hit a discount store on the drive from Phoenix to pick up some stuff. Guess what, RG4N? The Target I'm going to hit is NOT "on the freeway"; nor is the mall across the street.

You're trying to attack their arguments, which is pointless. They just don't like Walmart or the sort of people that shop there.
If it had been a Target they would have welcomed them, even though Target charges more for the same level of product, has the same sort of labor relations and is not making a push to be environmentally friendly.

I had never heard of an access road before moving to Austin 3 years ago. I can't imagine why anyone thinks they're a good idea. They're inconvenient, anti-neighborhood, and ugly.
